About Brightwaters

Brightwaters Christian College is located on the Western shores of Lake Macquarie. The school is currently divided into an Infants class (K to 2) and a Primary class (3 to 6) with Year 7 beginning in 2022.

About the role

An opportunity exists to work part-time (0.7FTE), as a K-2 teacher, in a Christian environment as part of a committed Christian team.

This position is expected to start Term 1 NEXT Year.

About the role

The Year 7 Lead Teacher is responsible for being the Lead/Core Home Room teacher at the High School. You will be responsible, alongside the Principal, for developing the curriculum, building on a positive culture and growing our Primary School into this next stage of growth. You will have a passion for teaching young people and be the role model for them at this crucial stage of their lives, while providing assurance for their families that their child will be well known, well loved and well taught.

About Brightwaters Christian College

Brightwaters Christian College, situated on the shore of Lake Macquarie, NSW, is a K-6 , co-ed, Christian school that is blessed with a picturesque spacious campus. While the school community is smaller, the learning culture is strong and the community engagement is high.

About the role

This role involves working with small groups (4-5) of students who have been identified as needing extra support with their learning.

This role is a part-time position, approximately 1 - 1 ½ hours per day till the end of the 2021 school year.

This role would suit a teacher who has experience with small group learning particularly in the area of learning support.

The position commences mid- Term 2, 2021.

About Brightwaters Christian College

Our Brightwaters Campus on Lake Macquarie is a K-6, co-ed, Christian school that is blessed with a committed team of teachers and supportive parents.

About this role

The school is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified permanent part-time bus driver to transport our students during school terms only, on fixed routes, weekdays for the split shifts of 7.30 am to 8:45am and 3pm to 4:15pm. Further occasional work during or after school hours may arise for transport of staff and students on excursions and camps.

About You

  • You have a good driving history.
  • You’re a safe, reliable and courteous bus driver who enjoys serving others.
  • You hold a current drivers licence in NSW.
  • You have a current Working with Child Check or you’re willing to obtain one.
  • You have a friendly personality and enjoy interacting with children.
  • You have a servant heart and vibrant Christian faith.
